Surface Tension

Brent Runyon

Neat book. Reads almost like a journal of this kid, one section for each summer when he’s thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, and then sixteen, while the way he sees things changes, and he’s changing himself. Trying to understand the adult world. Missing being a kid. Not sure how to talk to his friends sometimes. And girls, all the time. It’s the kind of book that makes you think about who you are and who you think you’ll be, in a year from now, or even two or three.
