Michael Northrop

Michael, Tommy, Mixer, and Bones have never been much, but they’ve always been friends—until one of them goes missing. The others start to suspect maybe their oddball teacher, Mr. Haberman, who has been teaching them the book “Crime and Punishment”—that big, old, hard-to-read Russian classic about a madman murderer—is a bit too inspired by the book. Everything heightened, these guys start to wonder if they can even trust each other. It’s a dark book, just like teenage years can be, full of confusion about friends and girls, and guys being tough, or trying to.
